Torque about Purpose: Jesus Racing Gears Up for 2026 Season

Andrew ‘Fishtail’ Fisher, founder of Jesus Racing, is on a mission to prove that Christianity can be celebrated in unconventional ways.

So Excelsia University College will be cheering for Jesus Racing when the team is back on track for the 2026 season at Sydney Motorsport Park from 20 to 22 February. Currently competing as part of the Touring Car Masters (TCM) Series, Jesus Racing has been an integral part of Australian motor sport for over 15 years.

The TCM series sees Australia’s favorite muscle cars – Ford XYGT’s, BOSS Mustangs, Chev Camaros, Chrysler Chargers, Holden Monaro’s and Torana’s – battle it out for the top spot! The iconic Ford Falcon XY GT, fondly known as Abigail, is the star car of Jesus Racing’s entourage.

Apart from creating championship history, Fisher is committed to helping students and prison inmates across the country make better life decisions.

The Life Choices Program was developed to encourage high school students to shift perspective on important matters surrounding their lives. As an ambassador for the Life Choices Foundation, he uses the latest data to educate young people about drugs, alcohol, social media, road safety, relationships and beliefs, and has presented to over 300,000 students and inmates at prisons and detention centres.

Excelsia is a proud sponsor of Jesus Racing and Life Choices Foundation, enabling youth from all walks of life to lead a purposeful, values-centred life with regular access to mental wellbeing support.
