Excelsia University College is proud to congratulate Master by Research students Jasjeet Singh Ubhi, Jagadeeswara Reddy Sirigireddy, and Syed Muhammad Aoun Raza on presenting at the 2025 International Interdisciplinary Symposium on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), hosted by the University of Auckland in September 2025.
In addition to this milestone, Jasjeet Singh Ubhi was honoured with the Best Presentation Award, a remarkable recognition of his ability to communicate research with clarity, depth, and impact.
We were honoured to have two papers accepted and presented:
- Adapting Minds: Cognitive Flexibility and Resilience for Higher Education Leadership in the Digital World
- Hysteresis in Environmental Quality – engaging with SDG 3: Good Health & Wellbeing and SDG 13: Climate Action. This paper was presented by Jasjeet Ubhi.
Guided by Dr Safoora Pitsi, MBR Program/Course Coordinator in the School of Business, the students developed an abstract that reflects a clear commitment to research excellence and sustainability-focused scholarship. Their selection recognises the calibre of their inquiry and the relevance of their work to global SDG priorities.
This milestone marks the first time Excelsia’s School of Business students presented at an international symposium. It showcases the strength of our growing research culture and its alignment with both Excelsia’s and the Lumen Research Institute’s emphasis on scholarship that serves the common good.
‘Opportunities like this demonstrate how our researchers are engaging with the world’s most pressing challenges,’ said Dr Safoora Pitsi. ‘I’m delighted to see our MBR students contributing rigorous, values-driven work to an international audience.’
Excelsia remains committed to advancing research that supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, translating scholarship into real-world impact for a more sustainable and equitable future.
