We are thrilled to announce that the Sydney Prayer Breakfast 2020 will still be proceeding on the morning of Wednesday 27 May. In fact, organisers of the breakfast are hoping for and anticipating an even larger gathering this year through a live web stream.
Part of an ongoing tradition, the Sydney Prayer breakfast is an annual networking event for Christians bringing together politicians, business people, faith leaders and students. This year’s breakfast will still include all the components you have come to know and love, with prayers, music and a report from the medical frontline.
Past speakers at the breakfast have included leaders such as former Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione, NSW Governor General David Hurley, former premier of NSW Mike Baird and World Vision CEO Claire Rogers. John Anderson, Former Member of the Australian House of Representatives will be this year’s guest speaker.
Excelsia College is honoured to be involved as a major sponsor for the Sydney Prayer Breakfast 2020.
CEO of Excelsia College Peter McKeon writes, ‘The Sydney Prayer Breakfast encourages community among Christians of all denominations and to unite around our shared values, renewing our connection to God and sharing in the joy of living as followers of Jesus.’
In order to participate in this free event, you must register in advance. You will receive an email closer to the time of the breakfast with the details of how to join the streaming.
