COMMONWEALTH SUPPORTED PLACES AT EXCELSIA COLLEGE
CSP Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place, students must be an Australian citizen, or a New Zealand Special Category Visa holder who meets the long-term residency requirements, or a holder of a permanent humanitarian visa as a minimum before applying for a CSP course.
CSP Course Structure
All of these courses can be completed over six months which comprise of the first semester of content from our education postgraduate master courses. At the end of each CSP course, you will receive a certificate and have the option to undertake further study in a masters as well.
CSP Course Fees
The structure of the CSP Places means that our graduate certificate courses are subsidised 100 per cent. Students are not required to pay any subject fees. This ensures all domestic students have the opportunity to expand their skill set and experiences without financial burden. Our courses for teachers and counsellors will help develop professional resume with new skills in classroom management as well as counselling and open up pathways for further study or a new career.
The Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies is nested within the Master of Teaching program (Primary or Secondary) and can be offered as a standalone, entry or exit award. Although it does not qualify you to teach, the graduate certificate in educational studies open up a range of opportunities to explore the foundations of education, become familiar with the function of schools and schooling, and the responsibilities of classroom teachers.
