We’re pleased to announce Sunaina Gowan’s (Excelsia’s Deputy Head School of Business) journal paper has been accepted for a review by an ‘A’ class journal ‘Studies in Higher Education’ by Taylor & Francis Online.
Titled ‘Trials and Tribulations of South Asian International Students in Australia’, its purpose is to provide evidence-based understanding of the current challenges and opportunities available for the well-being and inclusion of international students from South Asia, as well as identify what formal and informal forms of support students currently draw on and how engagement strategies can be improved.
The findings provide the essential empirical knowledge and theoretical insights that are needed to develop policies and practices to support international students, protect their emotional, social and physical well-being, and improve the economic competitiveness of the local education sector.
