APPLY NOW FOR A UNIQUE STORYTELLING EXPERIENCE IN AN EXCELSIA COLLEGE/SYDNEY FILM SCHOOL COLLABORATION

For the first time Excelsia College and Sydney Film School are partnering to bring you a tertiary taster class focused on storytelling. Are you interested in the professional world of screen production?  If you want to learn more about creating and telling your own stories through the medium of screen production, and wish to test-drive tertiary learning at one of Australia’s top higher education providers, then the Foundations of Storytelling Taster Class is for you.

Our nature is to be drawn to stories. Our ears and eyes are conditioned to dive into the world of a story and listen to what is being shared. Over the last century the screen has transformed the way we tell stories.
It has paved new mediums for storytelling and opened audiences around the globe to hear what is being shared. The Foundations of Story Telling Taster Class can help you find your way to change the world or ignite a passion for film. The unit is designed for future filmmakers but could also help marketers, entrepreneurs and human resource professionals to develop a comprehensive understanding of storytelling for their audiences.

As well as being a dynamic introduction to a new creative discipline, this taster unit will give a glimpse into what you can expect in the new Excelsia College and Sydney Film School Bachelor of Screen Production degree launching in January 2021. The Foundations of Storytelling Taster Class will run for 13 weeks beginning the week of 7th September 2020. The unit, normally face-to-face, will be delivered online – meaning you have the flexibility to learn from the safety and comfort of your home.
