Excelsia College, a Christian higher education provider committed to providing excellence in education since 1983, is delighted to announce a special Master of Teaching Webinar on 23 November, 6:00–6:45pm The webinar aims to provide valuable information to attendees about the recent Commonwealth Teaching Scholarships offered by the Australian Government, empowering aspiring teachers to pursue their dreams without financial constraints.

The Commonwealth Teaching Scholarships have been established to support new undergraduate and postgraduate teaching students, covering the costs of their studies in exchange for a commitment to teach in government schools or government-run early learning settings upon graduation. Under this program, scholarships of $40,000* per student are available for full-time undergraduate initial teacher education (ITE) students, and $20,000* for full-time postgraduate ITE students, offering invaluable financial assistance for their educational journey.

Excelsia College invites all interested individuals, especially school leavers, career changers, First Nations peoples, individuals from diverse linguistic backgrounds, people with disabilities, those from regional, rural or remote areas, midcareer professionals, and individuals from low socio-economic backgrounds, to join the Master of Teaching Webinar. During this informative session, attendees will gain comprehensive insights into the scholarship program, the eligibility criteria, and the application process. Moreover, attendees will learn about Excelsia College’s Master of Teaching courses, designed to empower future educators with knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in the teaching profession.

‘This initiative aligns with our commitment to fostering education and empowering talented individuals to become successful educators. We encourage all eligible candidates to participate in this webinar, gain valuable insights, and take the first step towards a fulfilling career in teaching,’ said Peter McKeon, Excelsia’s Chief Executive Officer.
